C-CUBE 3 CLINICAL RESEARCH IMAGER

A single device for all measurements on all phototypes

The system designed for your clinical studies

The C-Cube 3 is a skin and hair imager designed to scientifically validate the effects of dermocosmetic products, offering exceptional precision and reproducibility thanks to its exclusive technologies.

With its ability to perform 2D, 3D and ex-vivo analyses, it is the most versatile tool on the market, meeting 90% of claim validation needs.

Its micro-dermatoscopic technology enables much finer and more precise analysis of skin structures than macro imaging devices.

Combined with its software, Clinical Research and QuickScale, it provides detailed measurements on all areas of the body, even those difficult to access, and can operate without special lighting conditions.

This makes it a flexible, high-performance tool for integration into research protocols.

Products claims

C-Cube is the most versatile device of the market. Observe and quantify many criteria to validate 90% of your claims.

One device for all measurements

The C-Cube’s unique format allows access to all areas of the body, even those difficult to reach.

It is designed to perform analyses on all phototypes.

A single device is all you need to carry out all your measurements, in-vivo, ex-vivo or in-vitro, whether on the face, body or scalp.

Combined with our clinical research software, it guarantees simplified protocol management and precise, reproducible data analysis.

Ultra precise

The C-Cube 3’s technology offers unique accuracy, with a margin of error of less than 0.1%*, for both its 2D and 3D measurements, according to tests carried out on artificial skin samples under controlled conditions.

This accuracy is entirely independent of lighting conditions, age or phototype.

A concentrate of technologies

Color Calibration

Color calibration

The C-Cube uses exclusive metric and colorimetric calibration technology, making it the only imager to provide reproducible color measurements (L*a*b*), correlated with those of a chromameter.

Indirect lighting

Indirect lighting

Our solution uses a unique light dome that provides indirect illumination of the image. This illumination avoids hot spots and edge distortion, ensuring that measurements reflect product effects and not variations due to the device.

True 3D reconstruction

The C-Cube uses high-resolution 3D stereophotometry technology to reconstruct three-dimensional surfaces with the utmost precision. Specially designed for skin analysis, this technology excels in areas requiring extremely fine, detailed analysis of surface texture.

By capturing several images under different lighting conditions, the system calculates surface normals. Combined with geometric calibration, this enables elevation information to be determined for each pixel. This approach ensures true 3D reconstruction, based on the measurement parameters defined by ISO 25178.

The parameters Sa, Sq, Sdr, Ssk, Sku, Sz, Sp and Sv are thus used to precisely quantify surface texture, providing a complete and reliable analysis of skin topology.

The precision of 3D reconstruction makes it possible to measure and illustrate the effects produced right down to the skin’s microrelief.
