Your images in 3D with C-Cube 3

Give your analyses a new dimension with C-Cube 3 and its 3D reconstruction module.

The C-Cube is an ultra-high resolution 3D imager. It uses a technique called stereo-photometry, analyzes several images under different lighting conditions and estimates the surface normal. The software is thus able to produce elevation information for each pixel.

c-cube and 3D

The 3D of our system is based on real reconstruction, not grey mapping. It meets the measurement parameters of ISO 25178 (Sq, Ssk, Sku, Sv, Sz, Sa, Sdr…).

Clinical Research software gives you access to exclusive renderings such as elevation maps. These illustrations are ideal for use by your marketing departments.

New analysis criteria and claims

Based on this 3D footprint, C-Cube software extracts numerous 3D parameters to enrich your clinical studies.

Skin roughness

The C-Cube measures Sa, Sq and Sdr parameters. Sa and Sq represent the average distance to the mean plane of the region of interest. Sdr indicates the percentage of additional surface area of the skin texture compared to a plane surface. This feature is ideal for analyzing skin texture.

This measurement capability can benefit efficacy studies for smoothing products, as part of anti-aging claims, but also for evaluating exfoliating actives for acne-prone skin.

Pores depth

The C-Cube’s 3D module enables pore volume and depth to be measured. This provides information on pore density, average and maximum pore depth, as well as total and average pore volume. This indicator is relevant for measuring the anti-imperfection effects of your ranges.

Wrinkles

The Sv and Sz criteria are used to quantify wrinkles. The depth (Sv) and total amplitude (Sz) of a region of interest are processed, enabling wrinkles to be monitored over time to demonstrate the effectiveness of a product.

The C-Cube is also the ideal tool for assessing acne or isotropy. Its precise and complete 3D measurements meet the exacting standards of the cosmetics industry. Its quantifications enable you to observe the effects of all your dermocosmetic ranges.
